LOVE OF PAPER - A SCRAPBOOKING LAYOUT USING FABRIC

My entry to this week's challenge at The Pink Elephant (click on the title to this post or see my links to go directly there).  The challenge was to use the sketch provided and incorporate fabric into the layout.  The fabric here is the paper doll patterned area in the middle.  I found the fabric at my friend Cheryl's favorite place to hang out in Castlegar!  Knew I would use this one.

The background papers are all from graphic 45 - Playtimes Past and Fashionista.  The plain cardstock is Bazzil.  The alphas I used for the title are from Basic Grey.  I smudged them with Barn Door Distress Ink and then embossed the word Paper with red sparkly Zing which I distress by sanding a bit.  I inked the edges of the fabric with Stormy Sky Distress Ink and then faux stitched around the edges with a
sparkly blue pen.  Of course I used vintage yellow buttons!

The paper dolls are copies of actual vintage dolls - I love these!  If you would like your own set of the two toddlers see my post below.

SPREAD THE MAGIC!  FOR A CHANCE TO WIN YOUR OWN CUSTOMIZED BUTTON OR BLINKIE SEE MY CONTEST BUTTON AT THE TOP RIGHT.  GOOD LUCK!
