STAMPSCAPES - CABIN BY THE LAKE, DONE TWO WAYS

In the last few months I have been making some effort to learn a few stamping techniques.  These are both done using StampScape Rubber Stamps (click on the title of this post to go directly there!  The tutorials are extraordinary.)  done at a demo I attended which was put on by Steve at Stampers in Victoria.

The top one - well I was a bit heavy handed with the inking and the ferns in the foreground hmmm will do a bit differently another time.  This scene used four different stamps.  The middle scene, the trees on each side, the ferns and then the bird formation in the sky.  All these were done in black Momento on glossy cardstock and the colors were all Adirondack inks applied with sponges.`

The bottom scene is 5 stamps.  I used a cloud stamp (Dove Grey ink) which I stamped multiple times to cover the sky,  same middle scene but I changed up the foreground by using two different stamps.  I was so taken with this just the way it was that I didn`t color it.

Even a relatively new stamper can create a credible work given the right tools!

SPREAD THE MAGIC!  SEE MY CONTEST POST OF JULY 31st FOR YOUR CHANCE TO WIN A CUSTOMIZED BUTTON OR BLINKIE!   GOOD LUCK!
